Those are some of the benefits of Smart Campaigns, but there's more! 😉
Smart Campaigns Creation
Let's see how this new feature works!
To create a Smart Campaign, go to the Smart Campaigns tab in your Swiftpinz account. Here, you'll find a list of all your campaigns.
Click on the Create Campaign button to start creating a new campaign.
The campaigns per month you can create depends on the plan you have, check the pricing page for more details.
Step 1: Campaign Basics
On this screen, you'll be able to set the basic details of your campaign, such as the name, board, and the number of pins you want to create.
Let's see each field in detail:
- Name: This is the name of your campaign. It's a good idea to give it a descriptive name that reflects the purpose of your campaign.
- Board Selection: This is the board you want to create pins for. You can choose from the list of all your boards or create a new one.
- Pins per Day: This is the number of pins you want to create for each day of the month. The maximum number of pins you can create per day is based on your plan - for more details, you can check the pricing page.
- Publish Time (From): The starting time that your pins will be start being scheduled.
- Publish Time (To): The ending time that your pins will be scheduled.
For example, if you choose 9:00 AM as the Publish Time (From) and 11:00 AM as the Publish Time (To), your pins will be scheduled everyday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
What about the article sources? 🤔
Here you need to select the articles that Swiftpinz will create pins for. You have two options to select them:
- Sitemap: This option allows you to select all the articles from your website's sitemap. This is the best option if you have a large website and want to create pins for all the articles.
- Manual Entry: This option allows you to select the articles you want to create pins for manually. Paste the url and then press Enter!
Also, you can combine both options to select your articles! - Paste your sitemap, fetch the articles, and select the ones you want to create pins for on the open modal. Then, you can move into the "Manual Entry" tab and select the remaining articles (If they're from another sitemap 😙)
Step 2: Pins Design
Okay, now that you've selected the basic details of your campaign, it's time to design your pins!
Let's explore the different options:
Designs
You can choose from a variety of designs to create your pins - In the near future, we'll add more designs to choose from!
If the design icon is red, it means it has been selected! 😉
Okay, let's move into the fields, which you probably know them since they're similar than the normal pin generator:
- Main Color: This is the main color of your pins. You can choose from a variety of colors, or you can use the Randomize button to generate a random color for each pin.
- Image Style: The image style of your pins. Check the image preview to see the different styles!
- Account Logo: This option allows you to use the logo of your project as the background of your pins.
For this feature to be available, you'll need to set up a logo on your Pinterest account within Swifpinz. Go to -> "Pinterest Accounts" -> "Edit" next to the account you want to add a logo and then upload your logo.
- URL Watermark: This option allows you to add a watermark to your pins. Either the URL or the name of your website.
- Use Website Images: This option allows you to use the images of your website as the background of your pins. If selected, a new step will be unlocked 😮
Step 3: Website Images (Optional)
This step is optional and unlocked when you select the Use Website Images option on the previous step.
On this screen, you can select the images you want to use on your pins, of course, they'll come from your website.
On the table displayed, you have a button that will open a modal to select the images you want to use. You can select multiple images and then close the modal - they'll be added to the list of images to use on your pins.
Next to the button to select images, there's a column indicating the number of images selected for each article.
Step 4: Review & Create
Wow, you made it this far! 🎉
Great, now it's time to review your campaign and create it!
Again, let's see each field in detail:
- Start Date: This is the date when your campaign will start.
- End Date: This is the date when your campaign will end.
- Active Days: The amount of days that your campaign will be active. This field is automatically calculated based on the start and end dates.
- Pins to Create: The total amount of pins that will be generated for your campaign.
- Credit Cost: The amount of credits that will be used to create your pins. This field is automatically calculated based on the number of pins and the plan you're using.
Yes, as better plans, less credits will be! 😉
Click on CREATE and that's it!
You've created your campaign 🚀 - But that doesn't mean it will be active yet!
Smart Campaigns Activation
Now that you've created your campaign, it's time to activate it!
To do so, when you click on the CREATE button, you'll be redirected to the Smart Campaigns tab.
There, you'll need to wait until the campaign is fully generated. This can take a few minutes, depending on the number of pins you've selected.
Make sure to refresh the browser to see the progress of your campaign - This won't be necessary in the future, but for now, it's a good idea to keep an eye on it!
Once generated, click on View!
Once you're on the campaign, you have 2 tabs:
- Generated Content: This is the list of all the pins that have been generated for your campaign.
- Campaign Status: From this tab, you can launch your campaign to start on the Start date you selected.
How to Launch the Campaign
To be able to launch your campaign, you need to approve or reject all the pins that have been generated.
You can do it from the buttons on the Day card, or manually do it one by one by clicking on each pin.
Once the campaign has all the pins with an Approved or Rejected status, you can move to the Campaign Status tab to launch it.
Click on START CAMPAIGN and that's it! 🚀
How to Manage the Campaign
Once your campaign is launched, you can manage it from the Campaign Status tab.
There, you can pause the campaign to stop publishing pins, or directly delete pins if you don't want them anymore.
And that's it! 🎉
Conclusion
